An Giang's tourism sector continues to affirm its position as a leading tourism centre in the Mekong Delta region with a strong increase in visitor numbers and revenue, contributing to the development of other industries and increasing resources for the local economy. In the first six months of 2026, An Giang's tourism sector welcomed over 16.6 million visitors, an increase of 17.1% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 66.6% of the plan.
