Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - The Vietnam Frontier Summit 2018, a one-dayconference, will take place in Hanoi on October 6 with the theme ‘Fosteringinnovation with frontier technologies’.
The event is expected to achieve objectives including strengthening andsupporting frontier tech start-ups in building a sustainable business; creatingstrong connections and synergy of stakeholders in the frontier tech ecosystem;and promoting frontier tech such as AI, IoT, blockchain and AR/VR and theapplications of these technologies in real projects.
At the summit, experts and founders will discuss the context of the techstart-up ecosystem in Vietnam, as well as share experiences and solutions toenhance start-up capacity in the stated context.
The summit will also feature the event ‘Always Be Raising’ where top local andinternational investors will share the potential for technology start-ups inVietnam. In addition, this is also an opportunity for startups to meet, findinvestors and raise funding. It will also exhibit products and services toestablish credibility in the market and attract investment.
The forum, to be organised by Innovatube with sponsorship from the Ministry ofScience and Technology, is expected to gather more than 2,000 developers,researchers, entrepreneurs and investors in Vietnam and from other countries inSoutheast Asia.-VNS/VNA
