Prime Minister pledges more support in training to Laos
Personnel work has special significance to socio-economic development and Vietnam stands ready to increase support for Laos in training, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Hanoi (VNA) – Personnel work has special significanceto socio-economic development and Vietnam stands ready to increase support forLaos in training, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
He told ChansyPhosikham, head of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) CentralCommittee’s Organisation Commission, in Hanoi on May 25 that the VietnameseParty and State always require all-level Party Committees, ministries, agenciesand localities to assist Laos in national development, considering this as Vietnam’sresponsibility.
The Vietnamese and Lao PrimeMinisters have regularly met and discussed ways to enhance the bilateral ties, Phucadded, stressing that Vietnam is willing to provide the best possible supportfor its neighbouring country.
The Vietnamese government leaderhighly valued outcomes of the talks between the Lao Party Central Committee’sOrganisation Commission and the Organisation Commission of the Communist Partyof Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, which was held during Chansy Phosikham’svisit and focused on exchanging experience in Party building and personnelwork.
He urged the two sides totighten their coordination in implementing Vietnam-Laos joint statements,agreements reached by Party leaders of the two countries and Governments, theagreement signed at the 40th meeting of the Vietnam-LaosIntergovernmental Committee and other cooperation programmes.
For his part, Chansy Phosikhamsaid his visit aims to learn from Vietnam’s experience in organisation andpersonnel work.
He highlighted the firm stanceof the Lao Party, State and people on the fruitful cooperation and traditionalfriendship with Vietnam.
Laos is actively implementinginfrastructure projects, especially those in the transport sector, to bring thetwo countries closer, he said.-VNA
